This Opt-Out Preferences Policy explains how you can:

  • Opt out of receiving emails or communications
  • Opt out of non-essential cookies and tracking technologies
  • Opt out of certain types of data processing (where legally permitted)
  • Exercise privacy rights under U.S. and international privacy laws, including GDPR

This Policy works alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms & Conditions.

2. Opt-Out of Marketing & Optional Communications

2.1 What You Can Opt Out Of

MPF may send:

  • Newsletters

  • Emailing us at info@milwaukepolicefoundation.org

  • Requesting removal from specific mailing lists

Opting out will not affect legal, administrative, donation-related, or security-related communications, which we may still send as necessary.

3. Opt-Out of Cookies & Tracking Technologies (TrustArc)

MPF uses TrustArc as our cookie consent and compliance management platform.

3.1 What You Can Opt Out Of

  • “Do Not Track”

5. Opt-Out Options for U.S. Residents (Including California)

MPF voluntarily honors reasonable opt-out requests even in states without comprehensive privacy laws.

Where applicable under California’s CCPA/CPRA, you may:

MPF shares personal information only with:

  • Service providers (e.g., payment processors, website hosts, email platforms)

TrustArc ensures such tools never activate for EU/UK visitors unless consent is explicitly given.

8. Requests on Behalf of Another Person

  • Your identity
