Violent crime has a devastating impact on individuals, families, and entire communities. The Milwaukee Police Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Milwaukee Police Department in reducing violent crime and making Milwaukee a safer place.
The MPF helps fund innovative initiatives to combat violent crime, such as robbery deterrence classes designed for local small businesses and our Public Safety Cadets program, managed by retired and active law enforcement officers and business leaders, for young adults aged 14 – 20. Additionally, the Milwaukee Police Foundation supports the MPD’s SAFE PLACE program, designed to provide victims of human trafficking and members of the LGBTQ+ community a safe place to call for police assistance.
